2. What cookies and tracking technologies are
Cookies are small text files stored in the user’s browser or device. They may be session cookies, which are deleted when the browser is closed, or persistent cookies, which remain until their stated expiry date or until they are manually deleted.
The same rules may also apply to similar technologies, including pixels, tags, online identifiers, local storage and other tools capable of reading from or writing information to a device.
3. Categories used and legal basis
- Necessary and security: used for navigation, preference management, forms and protection against abuse. Consent is not required only to the extent that they are strictly necessary for the service requested.
- Analytics: measure traffic, page views and use of the website. They are activated only with consent, unless a configuration fully meets the legal conditions for treatment as technical cookies.
- Marketing and profiling: measure campaigns, attribute conversions, build audiences and personalise advertising. They always require consent.
- Functional and external content: enable videos, maps or social components. Where they are not strictly necessary, consent is required before loading.
The legal basis for non-technical cookies and tools is consent under Article 122 of the Italian Privacy Code and Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. Scrolling, continuing to browse or closing the banner does not amount to consent.

5. External links
Ordinary links to Google Maps, Tripadvisor, Facebook, Instagram or other external websites do not set cookies through this domain merely because the link is displayed. After the user clicks the link, processing is governed by the external provider. Embedded content, however, may transmit data when it loads and must be blocked until consent where it is not necessary.
6. Consent, refusal and changing preferences
Non-essential cookies must be disabled by default. Users may accept all cookies, refuse them or select individual categories through the consent panel.
Consent may be withdrawn or changed at any time through the cookie-preference control available on the website. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out lawfully before withdrawal. Once consent is withdrawn, the relevant tags must no longer be loaded; cookies already stored may be deleted through the browser.
7. Browser controls
Browsers allow users to view, block or delete cookies. Blocking necessary cookies may prevent forms, preferences and security features from working correctly. Instructions vary according to the browser and device used.
8. Transfers outside the European Economic Area
Some providers, particularly Google and Meta, may process data outside the European Economic Area. Transfers take place under the safeguards declared by the provider and applicable to the service, such as adequacy decisions, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, standard contractual clauses or another safeguard permitted by Articles 44 et seq. GDPR.
9. Personal data and data-subject rights
Where cookies or online identifiers make it possible to link information to an identified or identifiable person, that information is personal data. For details on processing, recipients, retention and data-subject rights, please see the Privacy Policy.
10. Updates
This Cookie Policy may be updated following legal, technical or provider changes. The date shown at the beginning identifies the current version. The technical list must be reviewed periodically and updated whenever tags, cookies, domains or durations change.
